@markosmkpteam490 well they did have a lower budget than other fighters the gameplay for ki is unique and at the time was way ahead of others Some of the original devs actually worked on this new one
@@DeoxK I understand it, but even a "free" fan can achieve a better result, it has already been shown that fans can do better things than multi-million dollar companies, I do not consider this last killer as part of the saga, I am still waiting for killer instinct 3 , which follows the same line of graphics as 1 and 2, but in HD

5>6 5 last round felt more like an anniversary which was good but they always forgot to add more stages that felt more like old school doa 6 is good, should've kept tag mode for the casual people and less focus on buying stuff Both had good gameplay and mechanics and nothing that you could abuse at the end of the games life cycle at least.

This is sick man, gg. I knew a quad ultra was possible but I could never quite get it. You made this look so easy. If you're interested in trying it, I was working on a high hit quad ultra (don't remember the exact sequence) where you start in the center with dash surge punch, do it again in the corner (may need to cancel with f.hk, surge DP could work as well) recapture, ultra 1, recapture, Ddrift, ultra 2, instinct, same sequence post ultra 1 for 3 and 4. I think I calced it at about 250 hits. I can't remember where this went when I tested it but you may be able to get even more hits between ultras if you cancel surge punch with f.hk on the fall, recapture, and do normals as needed.
Oh, it was only a quad ultra because I was on shadow lords mode You can only do 3 ultras with shago regularly Thank you, though Oh yeah, everyone got their ultras nerfed a long time ago. It used to be pretty bad (bad as in people abusing stuff online)

I was doing attempts months ago and the furthest I got (I think) was recapture after 3rd ultra but I cracked before I could do the 4th, but I'm probably misremembering. How did they nerf it exactly? I assume you have an item in SL mode that extends the combo meter? Can't remember which one it would be
@J3tAlone well some characters didn have the kit to do more than double or triple ultra but someone like gargos could do quad or sometimes 5 I used an item that let's you refill your instinct meter once you use it
@J3tAlone instead of you performing a recapture or hard sit down when you do a certain move to continue a combo they force you to do a flip out instead or drop the combo (idk the term) if you don't cash out the combo
@DeoxK oh duh the dram of focus lol my b. Ok I remember that too, where the combo would drop/enemy flips out before the meter was full? I think on the 3rd recapture it would pretty much always fail so that was probably it. I need to lab it some more but I think I did some specific cancel or instinct timing to bypass it. I remember it taking me embarassingly long to figure out it wasn't tied to the combo meter itself lol. I hope I'm not crazy. Anyway, thanks for indulging me. Grats on the quad ultra, those things are pretty hard to come by nowadays. Glad you're still making combo showcases!

Won’t lie after all this time I still adore her theme and it’s one of my favs sure buuuuuut I’m kinda sad that they didn’t take her theme song in an even darker direction for that mysterious and not what it seems side to her. I honestly think something like the DOA5 Blood tie remix, Helena’s doa2 track or maybe Christie’s Monster track from 3 but with more classical instruments and sounds instead would be a far more cooler way to theme this character. Regardless though the vampire masquerade, dark regality theming for her sound isn’t bad at all it’s fun and pleasing to the ears. 10/10 from all gothic lolita’s and historians alike oh and castlevania fans lol.
